Dear overseas readers

In this blog, I’d like to introduce the charm of Nara to overseas readers.

When traveling to Japan, where would you like to visit?

Tokyo? Osaka? Kyoto?

Of course, each city is full of attractions and allure.

However, “Nara” has its own unique charm compared to these cities.

From the famous deer in Nara Park to the Great Buddha of Todaiji Temple, there are various recommended spots.

I am actually from Nara, but due to my father being transferred frequently when I was a child, I didn’t live there for long. I attended high school and university in Kyoto, lived in Osaka after starting work, and rarely had the opportunity to explore Nara.

After marrying my American husband, I started to frequently explore the area around Nara, where my parents live, and became captivated by its charm.

Finally, we moved to Nara city this April.

I’m looking forward to visiting various places and introducing the captivating spots of Nara.

Please stay tuned and enjoy the journey with me.
